The circumnavigation of Eastern North America by water is known as America’s Great Loop. The round trip is over 5,000 miles. Travel from the Great Lakes, down the Illinois, Mississippi, Ohio & Tennessee Rivers, then the Tom-Bigby Water Way to the Gulf Coast, around FL then up the Atlantic Intra-Costal Waterway, thru the Chesapeake Bay, NY Harbor, Canada and back to the Great Lakes. |
